Custom Resins has developed single layer nylon copolymer resins that will enable you to meet the strict CARB and EPA fuel permeation regulations, whether your process is roto-molding, blow molding or injection molding.
Rotomolding
- Nylene 494 ----a single layer system. This material has a CARB Executive Order Letter for Innovative Product, Q-08-028
- Nylene 494 IM----a single layer nylon system that provides excellent low temperature properties when required
Blow Molding
- Nylene 609---- single layer system
- Nylene 764 B----a single layer system that provides excellent low temperature properties when required
Injection Molding
- Nylene 743---- single layer system that provides excellent low temperature properties when required
These new grades of nylon will permit a single step process and a single layer material fuel tank. They will reduce the chances of failure and scrap, which makes them extremely cost competitive.
